Pre-Holi care for your skin
Use Sunscreen
Before you go out make sure to use a proper sunscreen with high amount of SPF. We suggest Umbrella Sunscreen 75 along with Umbrella Sunscreen powder 50 for best protection for the whole day. Go for a sweat proof & heat proof sunscreen formula, so that it does not melt or come off easily. Apply the sunscreen not only on your face but also to your neck, hands & any other bare parts of the body.
Lather on Moisturizer
It is always a good idea to have some good moisturizer lathered on your skin before playing holi. Moisturizers create a protective barrier on the skin & prevents the drying effects of the harsh holi colors, making it easier to get rid of the colors once you are done playing. Applying a lightweight, non-sticky body oil all over your body before playing holi is also a good trick to make sure that colors are removed easily from your skin even if you get drenched in colored water. We recommend Skin Defence Orange Oil.
Wear covering clothes
Last but not the least, always wear full sleeve, covering clothes before going to get all those colors on, a physical barrier can give your skin the best protection.
Pre-Holi care for your hair
No matter what your favorite actress did in her last holi song, if you love your hair, you should have your hair tied while playing holi. Wearing a Holi special cap or bandana is also great as it will save your hair while giving you a cool look. Applying a leave in serum to your locks before going out to play holi is a must. We recommend Keratin Care Hair Serum. It will give your hair a layer of protection from the harsh colors & the damaging effects of the sun rays.
Pre-Holi care for your nails
If you do not want to attend college or office with Holi-stained nails it is best to apply multiple coats of transparent varnish on your nails before going out to play holi.
