You might answer as 30, 40 or 50, but the reality is completely different. The skin may start aging even when you are in your early 20’s. Yes, you heard it absolutely right, the lifestyle, food, environment, everything has a direct effect on your skin. There are a variety of factors involved in the process of skin aging that include lifestyle, food habits, sun exposure, genetics, and many others. These factors are broadly classified into two areas, intrinsic and extrinsic factors of aging. Intrinsic aging is the natural, genetically programmed decline in collagen, elastin, and cell turnover that usually begins at the age of 20s.
