• AROMA & PROPERTIES: The name thyme is derived from the Greek “Thymos,” meaning perfume. It has a rather sweet and intensely herbal fragrance native to southern Europe. It has Antimicrobe, Antiseptic, Antirheumatic, Antiputrefactive, Antivenomous, Bactericide, Diuretic, and Hypertensive. It is one of Hippocrates' four hundred simple remedies and is well known for its digestive properties. Very Potent Essential Oil and one of the strongest Antiseptic.

• MIND: Strengthening the nerves and activates the brain cells, aiding memory and concentration. Revives low spirits, feeling of exhaustion and combats depression. Said also to release mental blockages and trauma. Treats headaches caused by gastric complaints.

• BODY: Fortifies the lungs when treating colds, coughs, and sore throats, particularly tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, whooping cough, and asthma, warming and helps to eliminate phlegm. Stimulates white corpuscles' action and helps the body fight disease. Beneficial to the immune system and is suitable for circulation, and raises low blood pressure. When used in a compress can reduce painful arthritis swelling. A digestive stimulant, intestinal antiseptic, and particularly good in gastric infections. As a urinary antiseptic is helpful with cystitis.

• HAIR: A tonic for the scalp and may be effective with dandruff and hair loss. Thyme oil helps promote hair growth by both activities stimulating the scalp and actively preventing hair loss.
