• Aloe Vera has been used for centuries for its medicinal and skincare benefits. It is a succulent plant that stores 99% water in its leaves, making the gel inside them rich in moisture & numerous bioactive compounds such as vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, lignin, saponins, salicylic acids & amino acids. The botanical name of Aloe vera is Aloe barbadensis miller. It belongs to the Asphodelaceae (Liliaceae) family.  

• Containing Mucopolysaccharides helps bind moisture into the skin, providing an excellent moisturizing and anti-aging effect. Fibroblast stimulating activity & proliferation significantly increase collagen synthesis after topical application of Aloe Vera. It improves skin integrity and decreases the appearance of fine wrinkles & erythema. Collagen synthesis is also helpful for wound healing. Amino acids soften hardened skin cells & zinc acts as an astringent to tighten pores. 

• Contains Lupeol, Salicylic Acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamonic acid, phenols & sulfur; Aloe Vera helps combat acne breakout. It is suitable for sensitive skin as aloe contains vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, and C, providing a soothing and pleasing sensation on sunburns. 

• Aloe vera gel is rich in antioxidants & vitamin E that stimulate blood circulation to remove excess fluids & curb swelling. It is perfect for puffy eyes and helpful to repair & rejuvenate the tired skin around the eyes, which can help to fade dark circles. Aloe vera has the property to reduce hyperpigmentation as it controls melanin synthesis and is responsible for the darkened patches, excessive tan, freckles, etc., on the skin.

• Vitamins & anthraquinones, resins, tannins & polysaccharides of Aloe Vera gel are adequate for the scalp and can treat hair loss & promote growth. Aloe vera contains aloe emodin, which stimulates hair follicles. Moisturizing effects of Aloe vera gel make hair soft and hydrated and keep dry & frizziness at bay. It is effective in treating patients with seborrheic dermatitis, which causes dandruff on the scalp.
